Description: Hippocrates is the greatest physician of Antiquity, also called the father of medicine. The Hippocratic Oath is associated with his name. Famous Hippocratic principles are: "First, do no harm" and "Art is eternal, but life is short." According to biographical information about him, he was trained in the healing temple on the island of Kos. Hippocrates wandered long before settling in Kos to practice and teach medicine. His ideas denied superstition, the divine origin of diseases, as well as the magic of primitive medicine and thus laid the foundations of the science of medicine. The statuette is made precisely from polyresin with a metal coating and with attention to every detail. Statuette dimensions: h 40 cm.
